AI Chatbots & Agents in Mauritius

Assistants that answer your customers and take real actions, with clear limits and a human handover.

The problem

A chatbot that makes things up, or traps customers in a loop, does more harm than having no chatbot at all.

What I do about it

I build assistants that stay on your subject, say when they cannot help and hand over to a person, and agents that only get the permissions they need, with every action logged.

A chatbot that makes things up is worse than no chatbot. I build assistants that stay on your subject, say when they cannot help and pass the conversation to a person.

Agents go one step further and take actions: book, look up, update, notify. I only give an agent the permissions it needs, and every action is logged.

What this covers

  • Customer assistants on your website
  • Lead capture and qualification
  • Agents that look up or update records in your tools
  • Handover to a human with the conversation attached
  • Guardrails, allowed topics and refusal rules
  • Logging, review and cost monitoring

Is it a good fit?

A good fit when

  • Customers ask the same questions again and again
  • The answers already exist in your content or tools
  • Someone can read the conversations in the first weeks

Not the right fit when

  • Every question needs a human judgement
  • Nobody is available to take the handover
  • A wrong answer would have legal or medical consequences

How I work

  1. 01

Define the job and the limits

What it may answer, what it may do, and when it must stop.

  2. 02

    Choose the model and tools

Match the task to the simplest option that works.

  3. 03

    Test with real questions

Run your actual customer questions and fix the failures.

  4. 04

    Launch with a review loop

Read the conversations weekly at first, and tighten the rules.

The first step is a short conversation.

What you walk away with

  • A working assistant or agent in production
  • Rules and limits written down
  • Conversation logs and a weekly review routine
  • Accounts and keys in your name

Everything is handed over in your name.

Tools I reach for

  • Claude
  • ChatGPT
  • OpenAI
  • n8n
  • Zapier
  • Gumloop
A recent outcome

Fewer repeat questions, with a person still in the loop.

The assistant handles the routine questions; you keep the conversations that need judgement.

Why hire an expert

  1. Real AI features and automations

A chatbot demo is easy. One that answers from your content, stays within limits, costs what you expected and hands over to a human takes design, testing and monitoring.

  2. Security

Forms, logins, API keys and third-party scripts are where sites get hurt. Someone has to review them line by line and keep updating them.

  3. Integrations

Your site has to talk to your booking tool, CRM, payment provider and email. The hard part is what happens when one of them is down or changes its API.

Questions about this service

  • A chatbot answers questions. An agent can also take actions, such as looking up an order, booking a slot or updating a record. Agents need stricter permissions and logging because their mistakes have consequences.

  • Yes. It can be limited to answering from your own content and to refusing questions outside your subject. That approach is called RAG (retrieval-augmented generation). It greatly reduces made-up answers, though no system removes them entirely.

  • Yes, and it should. The handover includes the conversation, so the customer does not have to repeat themselves.
